The afore mentioned technical objectives were pursued by the GOEASY Project in strong correlation with a set of Innovative Strategic objectives, focusing on its impact, the long-term sustainability of its associated business models and overall on its value for society:
1) to promote sustainable behaviour of citizens through reward-based gamification leveraging dependable position information
2) to innovate Location-based applications in compliance with EU‘s legal and ethical requirements, with a strong attention on privacy aspects
3) to demonstrate the viability of Galileo services in supporting sustainable businesses case of Location-based services
4) gather lessons learned and insight about the business and replication potential of developed solutions through the evaluation of developed location-based applications in two real, medium-scale pilots (namely the ApesMobility pilot in Torino – Italy, and the AsthmaWatch pilot in Stockholm -Sweden)
