The Innovation and Networking Days (INDays) event was hosted by our partner Fraunhofer FIT, following the three successful editions held in Bonn 2013 and 2017 as well as in Torino in 2018. The event is co-organized by GOEASY coordinating partner LINKS and by the Centre for Research and Technology CERTH (Greece).
The INDays offers to innovators from industry, research and public administrations, the opportunity to meet, share, discuss and also attend inspirational speeches, technical presentations, World Cafés and poster sessions. This year, the first day was focused on the topics Smart City and Energy, while on Day 2 the sessions and speeches were about Intelligent Processes.
In the evening of Day 1, GOEASY was presented at the networking and poster session by partners FIT and CNET. Interesting discussions raised both on technical aspects about the AsthmaWatch pilot and on engagement strategy, on how to motivate citizens to behave more sustainable.
The participants found GOEASY to be a very relevant project, an important step towards building sustainable cities through objective data collection as well as dealing with privacy issues, in order to achieve progress in promoting healthy and sustainable behavior. A few participants have also observed GOEASY’s potential for direct and indirect economic contributions through improving health conditions of asthma patients, and thereby reducing health-related expenses.
